Players eligible in this draft must have been drafted and signed in this years MLB First Year Players Draft or International Free Agents (not signed with bonus pool money) signed on or before July 2nd 2016. How is adrian Morejon eligible? He signed after the 2th of july on the 7th of july. So shouldn't he be part of next year draft now |

The players eligible have to be signed with bonus pool money and needed to be signed by our lock date. No one from this year's July 2 class is eligible to sign before July 2. Morejon signed 5 days later during the July 2 period and before our draft started |
