It is my understanding that a V player under contract even if they have been released are not eligible for the FAA. Heywards contract expires at the end of 2019... Therefore, he may be picked up after FAA ends for 2M.

If you look at the spreadsheet, you'll see two Jason Heyward entries...One that doesn't have an date is from where he was released then picked up by another team last year..the other is the original V contract that was signed... it shows it expiring after 2019
