Orioles accept. I hate to get rid or Corbin, since he has been such a pleasant surprise since I acquired him back in 2017(?). He's under a reasonable contract and has continued to produce decent strikeout rates and nice ratios. However, even after having a couple of solid recent weeks I have to admit to myself that I'm not moving up in the standings. The AL East is just such a tough division right now (hat off to all the other owners up in here), and I don't see Corbin's value getting any higher than it is right now so I'm selling while I can.
Honestly, this trade represents a consolidation of two different deals that Maynard and I have been trying to work out for about a week now. Thanks for the negotiations, Maynard. Good luck chasing that division title...it's going to be a dog fight.
