Mariners give: Freddie Freeman 1B ATL (Mariners pay 2019 contract)
Pirates give: George Springer OF HOU (Pirates pay 2019 contract) and Carlos Gonzalez OF FA (Pirates pay 2019 contract)
Mariners accept. Finally was able to move Freeman and his contract. He's definitely worth every penny of it, but I have some guys who can slot in there and hope Nate Lowe is my 1B of the future. Love Springer, he's younger and he gives me a little more cap flexibility next year and fills a hole i've been trying to fill for years at CF. I took on Cargo's contract to help even out salary a bit.
