I was just looking to get another option at 1B.  Bowlan was a pick up earlier this year, had a no hitter just recently.  Has pitched really well overall and looks like he has a chance of being a future SP on a rebuilding Royals team.  Thanks Mike for the easy trade.

Orioles accept. Pujols was signed as a backup 1B. Now that Vogelbach has shown he is capable, I dont need Pujols anymore. Might as well take a shot at a spec.
