Swap out a bad contract for an even badder contract quite possibly the baddest contract but I am desperate for 1b and don't care about my finances for the next 3 seasons.
Think Upton should have a decent full season under the resurgent Angels. Hoping/praying goldy can get that average back up.

No problem, I expect Bregman, Albies and Giolito to have obscene pay raises after the season so needed to do something to cover that.
