DBacks trade: Alex Kirilloff Sam Huff Braves trade: Dane Dunning 2.16 & 2.18 Kyle Hendricks Pavin Smith 40M Braves accept: forfeiting my chances to compete this season by sending off basically my entire salary Cap and multiple assets, but getting a bat like Kirilloff and Huff will fit my timeline better then anything I am sending to help Dbacks now, making him a serious contender this season and beyond. Have fun in FAA

I think I have to make a corresponding move for my minor leagues. I will make it within an hour.

Wow. lol I dont get this at all. If you took out the 40 mil in the trade it would be much more even. Do people really not value 40 mil in cap space that much? Most of what i've read this off season says Kiriloffs value has gone down some in the last year. I guess Kyle really really wanted Kiriloff. Just my 2 cents.

Roster management wise, I’m good with the numbers. This can be voted upon when ready.

1-0.
I think in a couple years Kyle is getting the best player in the deal. 40 mill is alottttt of cap space to trade tho. Huff is a #9-10 best catching prospect. But Kyle seems pumped about Alex joint the team

For those who don’t agree with my trade. Yes this has major championship implications for other teams.
In my eyes:
Huff > Smith and Dunning (Or at least safer)
Kirilloff for 2 2nds, Hendricks, 40M is the main trade.
Hendricks confuses me being a top 20ish pitcher like he was not being a K pitcher. Being from Chicago and a cubs fan, I see him as very underwhelming since 2016. If he repeats I don’t wanna pay top dollar for a 30yr old pitch to contact guy in this HR era where everyone hits 25 hrs. 2 very late seconds are a crap shoot at times and I don’t have the space in my MiLB for them anyways. Cap space comes back in 9 months for me, and Turri will be forced to evaluate who he will keep since he’ll be way over the cap and need to get down after the season before kick. And I bet a guy who I still see as a Top 15 spec on a up and coming trade. I think back to Derek Lee in 2006. Broke his wrist and lost all his power. From 2007-2010ish he was a .300 30HR type guy. I see Alex bouncing back to his insane 2018 stat line just like Lee.
