Another trade where I’ll take the “loss” to make my team deeper and more rounded. I have several closing options as well as the money to be able to pay Giles’ salary. Also, Santana wasn’t even on my active roster. He’s a big risk/reward guy who I don’t want to have to bet on. Marco gives me great depth. He may pitch for the shitty real life Mariners, but he’s a 200 inning lefty with 4 more years of team control. He’ll be a great streaming option. Ball could be ‘uuge... That’s all. Thanks Matty C.

Mariners accept. I feel like i'm going to regret this trade in like 5 years when Ball is an absolute monster and I don't have a 1B, but i'll be able to ease my pain by crying into my AL Pennant and World Series ring. Giles and Santana both fill holes I need, so I feel like my team is set. Thanks as always for the deal Matt. (wish we had stats to see how often we trade with each owner, i feel like we'd have a lot).
