Mariners receive: Masahiro Tanaka, SP, NYY
White Sox receive: Bradley Zimmer, OF, CLE, Yoan Lopez, SP, ARZ, and Ashe Russell, SP, KC
Almost had a deal for strasburg but lost out last minute,but I was looking to bolster my rotation further and had some minor league depth i was willing to trade.

Also my conditional moves would be to demote Vance Worley, P, from my 40 man roster to make room for Tanaka, and to demote Carlos Villanueva, P, off of 25 man active roster.

In the offseason we aren't keeping track of the 25 man roster because we will allow free moves to set up the 25 man roster leading up to opening day. When it comes to Worley, are you releasing him or removing him from your 40 man roster? If so, please post in the Offseason Outright Releases/ 40 Man Removal thread |

Nice trade by the new Chicago manager! I'm scared of Tanaka's elbow and I love Bradley Zimmer as a prospect. Lopez and Russell are also nice prospects with #3 starter profiles. 1-0

Oh ok, thought free moves had ended. Just removing from 40 man, not releasing Worley. I should post it before the trade is fully through?

This has probably gone through already but I accept. Tanaka just cannot keep a team in this league. He needs a "fragile, handle with care" label.
